Job Roles
Fitter Fabrication is responsible for fitting operations on metal components using hand tools and manually operated machines, as per specifications. The job involves identifying metals, tools; carrying out Fitting & Fabrication Operations like measuring, marking out, sawing, grinding, drilling, chiselling, threading, tapping, scraping, manual lapping and inspection of components in order to fit a component as per specifications. It also involves basic oxy-fuel gas cutting and basic manual arc welding as per given instructions and under supervision.
