Job Roles
Industrial Welder is a skilled professional responsible for carrying out welding, fabrication, repair, and assembly of metal components and structures used across the oil & gas, manufacturing, construction, automotive, shipbuilding, aerospace, power, and heavy engineering industries. The role involves operating manual, semi-automatic, and welding equipment to join ferrous and non-ferrous metals in accordance with engineering drawings, welding procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations. Industrial Welders are trained to interpret technical drawings, prepare workpieces, select appropriate welding processes and consumables, inspect weld quality, and perform finishing operations to ensure structural integrity and precision. They also follow industry best practices for workplace safety, equipment maintenance, and quality control while adhering to national and international welding standards. Depending on industry requirements, Industrial Welders may specialize in refinery welding, pipeline welding, precision welding for aerospace, manufacturing welding, automotive welding, structural steel welding, or construction welding, making them highly valuable professionals for modern industrial operations.
